Subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules made there- Duties of the under" it shall be the, duty of the Committee,— Committee. • to arrange for the proper performance of worship, "puja- ' • •archana" And the daily and periodical rites of the Mandir; _ to provide facilities for the 'offerings -Of worshiP by devotees; to ensure the safe cuatodY of hinds,•valuables and jewelleries and the Preservation arid management of the properties vested in the Mandir; to• ensure-, maintenance of order and ..discipline and proper -. hygienic conditions in the Mandir and proper standard of cleanliness and purity in the offerings made therein; • to. ensure that the funds of the endowments of the Mandir are ,spent according to the wishes, so far as may be known, of the doners ; to do all such things. as may be incidental and condusive to the efficient management of the affairs of the Mandir and the convenienee of the worshippers; and (7) to promote any other religious, educational, cultural or chari- table activity.
