(I) The Administrator may accept from any person against whom a reasonable suspicion • ? exists that he has committed an offence. under this Act a sum of money not exceeding :— in cases coming under clause (d) of Section 38 double the amount of the value: and in any other cases, the maximbm amount of the fine which may be imposed in respect of the offences. • by way of composition of the offence. (2) On the payment of such sum of money, no further proceedings shall be taken .against such person.
