No act or proceeding of any authority, committee or body of the Vishwavidyalaya. Vishwavidyalaya shall be invalid merely by reason of— and bodies not invalidated by vacancies. (a) any vacancy in or defect in the constitution thereof; (b) any defect in the election, nomination or appointment of a person acting as a member thereto; or any °Warily in its procedure not affecting the merits of the case.
