Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Court shall exercise the following powers and Power and duties perform the following duties, namely :— of Court. to act as an advisory body in all matters relating to the Vishwavidyalaya; to review ' from time to time the broad policies and programmes of Vishwavidyilaya; to consider and pass resolutions on the annual report, the annual accounts and audit report thereon, if any; to consider and pass resolutions on the annual financial esti;nates of the Vishwavidyalaya; to confer on the recommendation of the Executive Council honorary degrees and other academic distinctions; • to review the acts of the other authorities of the Vishwavidyalaya save where such authorities have acted in accordance with the powers conferred upon them by this Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances; to exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred or imposed upon it by this Act and the Statutes.
