Advisory Committees

Advisory Committees.- After the first meeting of the Council under section 43 the President shall constitute the Advisory Committees for every department of the Council from amongst the elected Councillors other than the Councillors included as member in the President-in-Council to advise in the affairs of the department concerned. (2) Each Advisory Committee shall consist of five members in case of a Municipal Council and three members in case of a Nagar Paqnchayat. (3) The member of the President in-Council incharge of the Department shall convene and preside over the meeting of the Advisory Committee relating to the department concerned at least once in every two months. The member of the President-in-Council incharge of the department may take into consideration the suggestions made in the meeting of the Advisory Committee.
