Reporting by medical attendants.- Any Medical practitioner (which terms shall include any person practicing any system of medicine) or any midwife, nurse, Dai, or any person attending a case of birth or of death shall duly notify to the Chief Municipal Officer, the birth or death attended by him or her. The information shall be given either personally or in such manner as may be convenient with 8 days of the occurrence of the birth or the death.
