Removal of nuisances

Removal of nuisances.-- On receipt of any information about the existence of a nuisance in any locality, the Council shall cause the matter to be investigated and if it appears to it that the nuisance is wholly or partly caused by any act or default of the owner, lessee or occupier of the premises or of any person or persons outside the premises, the Council may require the owner, lessee or occupier of the premises or other person or persons responsible for causing the nuisance to take such measures as may be specified in the notice, within the period specified therein.
