Power of Corporation to acquire and hold movable and immovable property.- The Corporation shall have power to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, within or without the limits of the city and, subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules and byelaws made there under, to transfer any property held by itself and to contract and to do all other things necessary for the purpose of this Act.
