Exclusion of specified areas from the operation of certain provisions.- (1) The Government after consulting the Corporation may, by notification in the Gazette and in such other manner as it may determine, declare its intention to exclude any specified area within the limits of the city from the operation of such provisions of this Act, as are, in the opinion for the Government, unsuited there to, and thereupon the said provisions shall cease to have effect in the said area. (2) The Government may make rules for the guidance of the municipal authorities and public officers in respect of the matters covered by the said provisions while the area is excluded.
