Control of prostitution.- The Corporation may in accordance with the byelaws made in that behalf grant licences, impose fees and otherwise control the practice of prostitution within the limits of the Corporation. Provisions of this Chapter to be supplemental to Central Act 104 of 1956 and actions under this Act to be subject to the Central Act.- The provisions contained in this Chapter shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, the provisions of the suppression of Immoral Traffic in Women and Girls Act, 1956 (104 of 1956), and anything done or any action taken under this Chapter shall be subject to the provisions of the said Act.
