Power to require raiyats in raiyatwari village to maintain water-course. - Where the State Government has constructed water- course in a raiyatwari village, it may require ralyats holding irrigable land in that village to maintain such water-course when, in the opinion of the State Government, such raiyats are in a position to do so.
