Scope of water-course contracts

Scope of water-course contracts. (a) Shall relate to the construction of water-courses the irrigation of all irrigable land in a village, mahal chak cultivated with one or more specified crops; a (b) Shall be made with the permanent holders of all such land in a village mahal or chak; Provided that, when not less than one-half of such permanent holders, holding not less than two-thirds of all such land, have given their consent to a water-course contract in accordance with provisions of this Chapter, the proposed contract, if accept, by Government shall be deemed to be a water Course contra made with the permanent holders of all irrigable land in the village Mahal or chak cultivated with such crop Or crops.
