Dates of payment of canal revenue. – (1) Canal revenue payable under an irrigation agreement or for the supply of water on demand, Or for the supply of water to supplement a village tank, or for the supply of water to a compulsorily assessed area shall fall due On such dates as may be prescribed In this behalf by rules made under this Act. (2) Canal revenue payable for the supply of water for industrial, urban or other purposes not connected with agriculture, shall fall due on the dates specified in the agreement relating thereto. (3) Canal revenue payable for the unauthorized Use of, or for the waste of, water shall fall due on the dates on which demand is made for the payment thereof.
