For Section 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Mantri (Vetan Tatha Blunts) Adhiniyam, 2017 (No. 25 of 1972) (hereinafter refuted to as the principal Act), the following section shall be substituted, namely:— '2. In this Act unless the context otherwise requires,— "Minister" includes Chief ttenister, "Ex-Chief Minister" means the Ex-Chief Minister of the successor State of Madhya Pradesh and includes such Ex-Chief Minister of existing State of Madhya Pradesh who was elected from the Vidhan Sabha constituency of the successor State of Madhya. Pradesh; - "Existing State of Madhya Pradesh" and "successor State of Madhya Pradesh" shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in clause (e) and clause (j) of the Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2000 (No. 28 of 2000).
