(1) Every salaried officer and teacher of the Vishwa Vidyalaya shall be Conditions of appointed under a written contract which shall be lodged with the service. Vice-Chancellor and a copy thereof furnished to the officer or teacher concerned. (2) No such officer or teacher as is referred to in sub-section (l) shall be offered nor shall he accept any remuneration for any work in or outside the Vishwa Vidyalaya except as may be provided by the Statutes. (3) Any dispute arising out of a contract between the Vishwa Vidyalaya .~ and any of its officers or teachers shall, at the r~uest of officer or the teacher concerned or at the instance. of the Vishwa Vidyalaya be referred by the Chancellor to a tribunal of arbitration consisting of one member appointed by the Board, one nominated by the officer or teacher concerned and umpire appointed by the Chancellor, and the decision ofthe tribunal shall be final and no suit shall lie in any civil court in respect of the matters decided by the Tribunal. (4) Every request under sub-section (3) shall be deemed to be a submission to arbitration upon the terms of this section within the meaning ofthe Arbitration Act, 1940 (No.10 of 1940) and all the provisions of that Act, with the exception of section 3 thereof, shall apply accordingly,
