(1) The Comptroller shall be a whole time salaried officer of the Comptroller Vishwa Vidyalaya. He shall be appointed by the Kulpati in accordance with the statutes to be made in this behalf and his emoluments and conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes. * Section 18 substituted vide Section 4 of the JNKVV (Amendment) Act, 1985 (No.19 of 1985). Sub-section (1) to Section 19 substituted vide Section 5 of the JNKVV (Amendment) Act,1985 (No.19 of 1985). Amendment Act came into force on 1.9.1985. ** _O.P. LODHI Contd :....16 ...• (pI:e;fl!A!._ -16- ~ Act ) *(2) Where any vacancy in the office of the Comptroller occurs by reason ofleave, illness or any other cause, the Kulpati shall make arrangements as he deems fit, to carry on the current duties of the Comptroller. (3) The Comptroller shall - (a) exercise general supervision over the funds of the Vishwa Vidyalaya and shall advise the Board in regard to its financial policy; (b) subject to the control of the Board, manage the property and investment of the Vishwa Vidyalaya; (c) be responsible for seeing that:atl moneys are expended on the purpose for which they are granted or allotted and no expenditure not authorized in the budget, is incurred by the Vishwa Vidyalaya; (d) exercise such other powers as may be conferred on him by the Statutes. **20. The Registrar shall be whole-time salaried officer and shall act as the Registrar. Secretary of the Court, the Board and of the Academic Council. He shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be conferred or imposed on him by the Statutes and the Regulations, He shall be an of- ficer not below the rank of Additional Director of Directorate of Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development" shall be substituted.
