Cancellation of agreement for failure to maintain Water course. - The Superintending Engineer may, at any time, after giving notice, cancel an irrigation agreement If, in his opinion, the permanent holders and occupiers bound thereby persistently fail to maintain their water Courses in proper repair. (2) An order by the Superintending Engineer under this section shall be in writing, and shall be published in the village concerned by beat of drum. (3) Thereupon the Irrigation agreement shall cease to have effect, and no suit shall lie In a civil court contesting the validity of the Superintending Engineer's order or making any claim whatsoever against the Government by reason of such cancellaticn.
