Canal Deputy Collector. - (1) The State Government may appoint a Canal Deputy Collector to one or more divisions. (2) A Canal Deputy Collector shall be subordinate to Executive Engineer of any division to which he is appointed (3) State Government may invest a Canal Deputy Collector with any or all of the powers of a Sub- divisional Officer under this Act, and may Invest a Sub-Divisional Officer with all or any of the powers of a Canal Deputy Collector.
