Commissioner of Labour-(1) The State Government shall, by notification, appoint a person to be the Commissioner of Labour for the State and may appoint the following categories of Officers to assist. the Commissioner of Labour. (a) Deputy Commissioner of Labour; (b) Assistant Commissioner of Labour. (2) The Deputy Commissioner of Labour and the Assistant Commissioner of Labour shall, subject to the control of the Commissioner of Labour and to the conditions, and restriction if any, prescribed by the State Government in this behalf, exercise such powers and perform such duties of the Commissioner under this Act may be delegated to them by the Commissioner of Labour for time to time.
