In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) "Government" means the Government of Madhya Pradesh. (b) "Members of a Raksha Dal" means a person enrolled under Section 6. (c) "Gram Sabha" Means a Gram Sabha constituted under section 5-A of Madhya Pradesh Rajya Evam Gram Swaraj Adhiniyam, 1993 (No. 1 of the year 1994 and Amendment Act No. 3 of the Year 2001), (d) "Mahalla Samiti" means a Mohilla Samiti constituted under section 3 of Madhya Pradesh Nagarpalika Mohilla Samiti.( constitution, Function, Powers and Procedure for conduct of Business) Rules, 2001 (e) "Superintendent" means the District Superintendent of Police.
