In section 3 of the Madhya Pradesh Fisheries Act, 1948 (No. 8 of Amendment r;' 1948) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act)- section 3. (a) in sub-section (3), for clause (f), the following clause.< si~all be substituted, namely :- "(1) prohibited sale or purchase of fish or transport or n~ovement of tish within or outside the State in excess of the prescribed quantity except under a licence; % (ff) prescribe the seasons during which- . (i) the hilling or catShing of fish of any prescribed species shall be prohil)ited ; (ii) sale, movement or transport of any prescribed specie.: si!all be prohibited except under a licence ; (Iff) regulate the grant of lice~ces under clnuse (f) and sub-clause (ii) of clause (B), anillor prescribe the fees pay:ll~le ll~crc- for and the conditions to be attached thereto; and" : (b) in sub-section (5), for clauses (a) and (I]), the follo\ving clauses shall be substituted, namely :- "(a) the seizure, removal and forfeiture of any fixed engine, apparatus or cquipnient erected or used for fishir?g in con- travention of ihe rules ; (b) the forfeiture of any fish procured by means of any such fixed engine,, apparatus or equipment or transported in contravention of the rules; and (c) the seizure, removal and forfeiture of any animals, carts, vessels, rafts, boats or vehicles used -for transporting CZ!
