Section 7

(1) No Court inferior to that of a Magistrate of the second class shall try any offence under this Act

(1) No Court inferior to that of a Magistrate of the second class shall try any offence under this Act. (2) No Court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act, except on a report in writing of the facts constituting such offence made by a Fishery Officer or a Police Officer not below the rank of Sub-Inspector or any other persons or calls of persons authorized by the State Government in this behalf.
