The Madhya Bharat Village Refuse (Conversion into Manure) Act, 1951 (8 of 1951) Section 1- For sub-sections (2), (3) and (4), substitute the following, namely :- - "(2) It extends to the whole of Madhya Pradesh." (3) It shall apply to all such villages in Madhya Pradesh to which it had been applied immediately before the commencement of the Madhya Pradesh Extension of Laws 36 Act, 1958 (23 of 1958) and may be applied to any other village on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different villages."
