(1) The State Government may. by notification, make rules to' carry out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:— (a) the qualifications, conditions of appoinmerit and service, the scale of pay, the tenure of office and the powers'and duties of the Registrar; • (.b) any-other matter which has to be or may be, prescribed. (3) All rules made under this Act. shall be laid on the table of legislative Assembly. .28. The Council may, with the previous sanction of the State Government, make regulations generally to carry out the purposes of this Act, and, without prejudice to the generality of this power, such regulations niay provide for,— (a) the management of the property of ihe Council and the maintenance and audit of its accounts: (b) the summoning and holding of meetings of the Council, the time and places where such meetings are to be held and the conduct of business thereat ; . (c) the resignation of members of the Council; (d) the powers and duties of the President and Vice-President; (e) the mode of appointment of the committee, the summoning arid holding of' meetings, and the conduct of business of such committees; (f) the qualification's and conditions, of service..of other employees of . the Councii; , . • ■ • , •• fg) the particulars to be stated and the proof of qualifications to be given, in the application for registration under this Act: ■ . (h) .th’c fee to/bc, paid on applications and appeals made under this Act-: • ,’f ’ ’ ' ’ ' ■ (i) the fee to be paid for entering additional qualification in the State :• Medical Register-: and (j) any matter for which under this Act provision niay be made by- regulations. CHAPTER VI—REPEAL AND TRANSITIONAL, PROVISIONS ■ 29.
