Classification, the Scales of Pay etc.(a) The classification of service, the pay scales thereof and the number of posts included in the service, shall be as specified in Schedule-I. However, the Government may add to, or, reduce the number of posts included in the service, either on a permanent, or, tenmporary basis. (b) No member of the service shall be entitled to compensation, in consequence of, any change in the structure of the service, or, in the event of unfilled by the Gvoernment, or, holding in abeyance, a vacant post in the cadre.
