Physical and Mental Fitness

Physical and Mental Fitness.-() The Candidate must be healthy, smart and free form any kind of organic defect or bodily infirmity and shall fulfill the required health related standards established by the approved Medical Authority: (2) the Pilot/Engineers shall be responsible to keep there licence valid (i.e. they shall appear before the approved Medical Authority at least before such time as to complete the specified formalities directed by the approved Medical Authority in adequate time, for the continuity of the validity of the Licence) However, the Government will provid all necessary facilities to the concerned Pilot/Engineer towards the renewal, endorsement (if so necessary) of the licence (s) all necessary examination specified by the Medical Authority towards the renewal of the Medical Examination and timely completion of all formalities, as per rules, specified by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of India, in respect of the licence.
