(1) This Act may be called the Levy Sugar Price Equalisation Fund Act, 1976. (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir. (3) It shall come into force on such date* as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. Came into force, w.e.f. 01/04/1976, vide G.S.R. 251(E), dated 25/03/1976.
