Transitional Provisions. - Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or any Statute or Regulation made thereunder, the appointment of the first Vice-Chancellor, and the first Registrar and the first Controller of Examination of the Cluster University constituted under this Act shall be made by the Chancellor and, until the first appointment as aforesaid is made, the Chancellor may make provisional appointments on the said posts, on such terms and conditions and for such period, as he deems appropriate.
