Rewards to police and informers

Rewards to police and informers.–– Rewards payable by law to informers shall, when the information is laid by a police officer, be paid to the credit of the State under the Head “Police”, but rewards payable by law for arrests shall, when the arrest is made by a Police officer, be paid to such officer.
