Delegation of Powers

Delegation of Powers. - (1) The Government may, by order, direct that the powers exercisable by it under this Act shall, in such circumstances and under such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the order, be exercised by an officer subordinate to the Government. [(2) Subject to the provisions of this Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, the Custodian General may delegate all or any of his powers under this Act to a Deputy Custodian General.] (3) Subject to the provisions of this Act and the [rules and orders] made thereunder, the Custodian may, by order, delegate all or any of his powers and functions under this Act to an Additional, Deputy or Assistant Custodian subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the order.
