Powers to fine Ministerial officers.—(1) A District or any Court under the control of District Court may fine, in an amount not exceeding one month’s salary, any ministerial officer of the Court for misconduct or neglect in the performance of his duties. (2) The District Court may, on appeal or otherwise, reverse or modify an order made under sub-section (1) by any Court under its control, and may, of its own motion, fine up to the amount of one month’s salary any ministerial officer of any Court under its control.
