Notification under section 5 to have effect as declaration under sections 4 and 6 of Land Acquisition Act.—In cases falling under section 26 (b) a notification under section 5 shall, notwithstanding STATE TOWN PLANNING ACT, 1963 19 anything contained in the State Land Acquisition Act, Svt. 1990, operate in respect of any land required for the purposes of the scheme as a declaration under sections 4 and 6 of the said Act and no further declaration shall be necessary, but it shall not be incumbent on the Government or officer authorised in that behalf to take immediate steps for the acquisition of such land : Provided that 1[if the proceeding for acquisition of land are not commenced] within three years from the date of notification if shall cease to have effect as a declaration under sections 4 and 6 of the State Land Acquisition Act, Svt. 1990.
