Cooperative to be body corporate.––The registration an association as a cooperative shall render it a body corporate by the name under which it is registered having perpetual succession and a common seal. The cooperative entitled to acquire, hold and dispose of property, to enter in contracts to institute and defend suits and other legal proceedings and to do all other things necessary for purpose for which it was constituted.
