District Road Safety Committee. ––(1) The Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, constitute for each district a committee to be called “the District Road Safety Committee”. (2) Every District Road Safety Committee shall consist of not more nine members or any other member as may be nominated by the Government. (3) The District Road Safety Committee shall exercise such powers and perform such functions, as the Council may specify, from time to time.
