Application of other laws not barred. ––––––– PREVENTION OF UNFAIRMEANS EXAMINATIONS ACT, 1987 5 THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR (PREVENTION OF UNFAIRMEANS) EXAMINATIONS ACT, 1987 (Act No. XX of 1987) [Received the assent of the Governor on 9th December, 1987 and published in the Government Gazette dated 4th January, 1988]. An Act to regulate the conduct of examinations and to provide for the punishment of Unfairmeans used or committed in such examinations. Be it enacted by the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows :––
