Expenditure on the Force.–– The entire expenditure in connection with the force shall be met out of the Consolidated Fund of the State : Provided that the Government may recover from any local authority of any area in which this Act is in force such contribution towards the cost of the portion of the Force maintained in the area as the Government may direct from time to time.
