Section 164

Cognizance of offences

Cognizance of offences.—(1) No court inferior to that of a Judicial Magistrate of the 1st Class shall try any offence under this Act. (2) No prosecution shall be instituted under this Act without the previous sanction of the Registrar and such sanction shall not be given without giving to the person concerned an opportunity of being heard. ———— CHAPTER XVI.
