The Deans of Faculties (1) There shall be a Dean for each constituent college who shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Management Council. The senior most Dean shall be designated as the Faculty Dean. (2) The Dean shall be a full-time salaried officer of the University. (3) The qualification and other conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (4) The Faculty Dean shall be the Chairman of the Board of Studies of the Faculty or Faculties under him. CHAPTER V AUTHORITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY (20) Authorities of the University.—The following shall be the Authorities of the University, namely: (i) The Management Council: (ii) The Board of Management; (iii) Academic Council; (iv) Research Council; (v) Extension Council; (vi) finance Council; (vii) Board of Studies; (viii) faculty Research Committee; (ix) Project Co-ordination Committee; and such other bodies of the University as may be designated by Statutes to be the authorities of the University. 21.The Management Council. - The Management Council shall consist of the following members, namely;
