(1) The jurisdiction of the University shall extend to the Revenue Districts of Trivandrum, Quilon, Alleppey, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam of the State. (2) No educational institution situated beyond the territorial limits of the University shall, save with the sanction of the Chancellor and the Government, be affiliated to the University and no educational institution within the territorial limits of the University shall, save with the sanction of the Chancellor and the Government, seek or continue affiliation to any other University established by law.
