(1) The council shall be reconstituted in accordance with the provision of the Kerala Municipal Corporation Act, 1961 (30 of 1961) on the [1st day of October 1979]. (2) The term of office of the Councillors of the reconstituted council shall expire at noon on the [1st day of October 1984]. Substituted by Acts 2/1977, 10/1978, 25/1978, and 8/1979.
