Power to TTUlke surveys or contribute towards their cost.-The Board may- ( a) cause a survey of any land to be made, whenever it considers that a survey is necessary or expedient for carrying out any of the pur- poseS of this Act, or (b) contribute towards the co&t of any such aurvey made by any other local authority.
