Co-operation of the Police.-( 1) The Inspector General of Pohce and his subordinates shall be bound to co-operate with the Chairman f01 carrying into effect and enforcing the provisions of this Act. (2) It shall be the duty of every police officei- (I) to communicate without delay to the proper officer or sen, ant of the Board any informatiOn which he receives of a design to commit or of the commission of any offence against this Act or any rule made t~ereunder, and (ii) to assist the Chairman or any officer or servaut ofthe Board reasonably demandmg his aid for the lawful exercise of any power vestmg m the Chairman or in such officer or servant under this Act or any rule made thereunder.
