(1) Repeal and saving. The enactments mentioned in the Second Schedule are hereby repealed. (2) All orders made or deemed to be made under the enactments referred to in sub-section (1) and in force immediately prior to the commencement of this Act shall continue in force and be deemed to have been made and shall have effect as if they have been made under this Act, and all appointments made licenses or permits granted and directions issued under any such order and in force immediately before such commencement shall likewise continue in force and be deemed to be made, granted or issued in pursuance of this Act. (3) The repeal of the enactments referred to in sub-section (1) shall not- (a) affect any right privilege obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under any enactment so repealed, or (b) affect any fine, penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against any enactment so repealed, or (c) affect any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, fine, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced and any such fine, penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if this Act had not been passed.
