Short title and Commencement.-(1) This Act may be called the 6[Travancore-Cochin] Payment of Salaries and Allowances Act, 1951. (2) Sections 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of this Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 26th day of January 1950 and the rest of this Act shall come into force at once.
