(1) A person shall be disqualified for holding the office of a trustee of an institution, if he -- (a) has been convicted by a Criminal Court of any offence involving moral turpitude; or (b) applies to be adjudicated or is adjudicated an insolvent; or (c) [ceases to be a Hindu]; or (d) is of unsound mind, a deaf-mute, or suffering from leprosy. (2) If a trustee of an institution becomes subject to any of the disqualifications mentioned in sub-section (1), he shall cease to hold office. (3) The Board shall in case of doubt or dispute determine whether a trustee is disqualified under sub-section (1). (4) Any person aggrieved by an order of the Board on the ground of unsoundness of mind or leprosy may, within ninety days of the date of communication of the order, apply to the Court to modify or cancel the order of the Board and subject to the decision of the Court, the order of the Board shall be final.
