The Board may divide the area within the jurisdiction of the Board into territorial divisions and assign, subject to such restrictions and limitations as the Board may deem fit to impose, matters relating to routine administration vested in the Board by or under Part II of this Act in respect of institutions situate in each of such divisions to the President or to any other member: Provided that the powers and duties vested in the Board in respect of incorporated and unincorporated Devaswoms and institutions which were under the management of the Ruler of Cochin prior to the 1st day of July, 1949 shall be exercised only by the Board.
