(1) The Devaswom Department constituted in 1097 shall continue and shall consist of such number of Hindu officers and other servants as may be determined from time to time by the Board. (2) The Devaswom Department shall, subject to the supervision, direction, and control of the Board, be under the Devaswom Commissioner [x x x x]. (3) The Devaswom Commissioner shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Devaswoms and Hindu Religious Endowments. [(3A) The Devaswom Commissioner shall submit reports to the Government, once in three months, with respect to the working of the Board.] (4) The expenditure in connection with the said Department shall be met out of the Devaswom Fund mentioned in Section 25.
