(1) This Act may be called the Travancore-Cochin Hindu Religious Institutions Act, 1950. (2) It shall come into force at once. (3) Part I of this Act shall extend to Travancore, Part II of this Act shall extend to Cochin and Part III of this Act shall extend to the whole [of the State of Kerala, excluding the Malabar District]. Substituted by the Kerala Adaptation of Laws Order, 1956.
