Sho-rt title, extent and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Travancore-Cochin Compensation for Tenants ·I.m:Prov.ements Act, -1956. Republished m the Gazette Extraordinary dated 31st October, 19:5&. 31-781 104 (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Travancore- Cochin. (3} It shall come into force at once.
