Detailed Town Planning Schemes that are published but not sanctioned within the time limit prescribed.—Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, in respect of any area for which planned development is necessary and the published Detailed Town Planning Scheme is not sanctioned within the time limit prescribed, the Government, may, after making such enquiry as they may deem necessary, require the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, Town Panchayat, Village Panchayat or Planning and Development Authority concerned to process and sanction the Detailed Town Planning Scheme as laid down in this Act.
